"Global warming"

GLOBAL WARMING

As far as the present situation of the world is concerned,the population of the world is growing in a sky-rocketing way.This rapid growth of population has resulted the adverse effect to all living creatures. One of the severe issue is obviously global warming.

                       Global warming can be defined as the rising average temperature of the earth's atmosphere and oceans. It is recorded that the earth average surface temperature has increased by about 0.8 degree Celsius with about 2/3rd of increase occurring since 1980. Scientist has given their assumption for this increase to be the green house gases like CO_2,  SO_2, CFC ,CO  from the industries, factories, vehicles and even refrigerator .These gases deplete the ozone layer and hence the UV rays directly affects the creatures of the earth in the form of acid rain and climatic change.

                EFFECTS OF THE GLOBAL WARMING 

1. Acid rain makes the soil infertile leading to low productivity.
2. Direct influence of UV rays causes various skin diseases like skin cancer.
3. Due to the climatic change,there is scarcity of rainfall i.e.drought in some places while in some places there is excessive rainfall.
4. The level of water increases in oceans and seas due to the melting if ice in arctic region,.so the polar bear experiences loss of habitat
5. Due to the deforestation, wild animals now experience scarcity of food and water and hence reached in the verge of extinction.                                   

PREVENTION ON  GLOBAL WARMING 

1. We need to use bio-gas and solar energy for cooking food instead of firewood.
2. Water resources shouldn't be polluted rather one should focus on conservation of rain water.
3. Afforestation programs should be carried out in each local areas to conserve forest and wild lives.
4. Use of CFC gas should be discouraged.
5. Awareness program mes  should be started  to make the  people aware about the effect of global warming.
6. Vehicle giving out a lot of smoke should be stopped and Eco friendly  vehicles should be bring in use.
                     Thus in this present context global warming has been a major problem to be solved to save the earth and  for the survival and existence of every living creatures.
